Buying Service Breakdown
- Register with base online or over the telephone- the first point of call is to register on the base database. You can register either online or by calling us on 020 7033 1901. The more information you give us the better we can help you find your dream property.
- Receive property alerts by email & SMS- Providing base with a valid email address and mobile number will enable us to notify you the moment we take on a new instruction that matches your criteria. This means, even if we can’t call you straight away, you will still be notified.
- Accompanied viewings- All viewings with base are accompanied by a negotiator. Usually we will arrange to meet you at the first property as this helps you assess where the property is and how good transport links are. If you are viewing numerous properties at one time, we will usually be able to transport you between properties. Our negotiators are highly trained so do feel free to ask questions about the property and surrounding area.
- Offers- Should you decide to offer on a property through base we aim to get you a decision from the vendor as quickly as possible.
- Sales Progression & Conveyancing- The progress of sales will be chased typically once per week with all involved parties updated accordingly. We can also recommend various solicitors to handle your legal matters if you have not already chosen one. These are ‘tried and tested’ solicitors that we have dealt with in the past and have proven to be both highly competent and efficient in sales conveyancing. For first time buyers, do ask about the sales process so that you can understand what the process involves.
- Completion- keys for the property can usually be collected from the base offices on the day of completion and you are free to enjoy your new home!
